Cherry Vodka a Success!!

Decanted and strained a bottle of my cherry vodka after 8 weeks and its really good!!!

Just a hint of sweetness and fab with the shaprness of tonic :D :D :D

Very happy indeed.

1lb of cherries and a couple of ounces of sugar (I cant remember the exact amount of sugar :oops: ) and a 75cl bottle of vodka.

I used 'decent' vodka for it as I had read in all the recipes that if you used the cheap vodka it would tell in the end result.

Sounds worth trying! What sort of cherries did you use? The standard eating ones, or cooking ones (Morello-type)?
