Can sloes also be used as a pudding?

Post by oldFAQs » 14 Mar 2004, 20:47

I have been making sloe damson & bullace gin for a number of years now and each year wonder if the fruit can be used for an other use (a pudding)?

Some people do add the used sloes to chocolate - to make individual small chocolates - but be sure to remove the stones first!

Check some of the other forums here at sloe.biz for more ideas.

Here in the Cotswolds it is not too late to actually pick sloes for some extra bottles! (and only a few days 'til Christmas!). What a good year 2003 has been!
