hi there, just found several bushes in my garden full of purple berries imagine my delight when I googled them and found they were sloes. I had a friend who made me some sloe gin a few years ago and enjoyed it so much but living in Italy didn't think I would be able to make some myself. am now waiting patiently for them to mature and begin making some. what a delightful forum didn't know there were so many like minded people out there. best wishes sheila
