95 % Alcohol - Bargnolino

Post by italiastar » 09 Oct 2009, 22:45

I'm making an Italian Liquer from Piacenza called Bargnolino, same recipe as sloe gin, but uses 95 % alcohol, which is available in supermarkets in Italy.

Heres the details -

Hi, Is this a clear or coloured liqueur?

The 95% alcohol is clear, but the finished liquer is coloured - from memory a dark red/brown.

Heres a phot I've found on the net showing the colour -
