MORE SLOE BRANDY!

I have been making sloe gin for a while now but this year I have decided to make a litre of sloe brandy. That is simply following the usual recipe but using brandy instead of gin.
Has anybody else done this, what was the result like? This recipe sounds absolutely delicious but does it work?

I've made it from the sloes I've removed from my sloe gin. The sloes still carry quite a bit of flavour, but it takes longer for the taste to come through.
Same recipe though.

Worth the wait though!
