Hi Srebarna,

There is an old British Royal Navy drink called Kye...or is it Kai? - can't remember! served hot to sailors in arctic conditions - BRRRRR!. This consisted of evaporated milk mixed with melted chocolate and rum.

SLOE BRANDY - RESULT!

My experiment with making sloe brandy ie substituting the gin for brandy is a winner! As expected, it has developed into a luscious deep red liqueur with the subtle characteristic aroma and taste of the sloes still right there in the background. Normally I would not drink brandy, I find it a tad too...

MORE SLOE BRANDY!

I have been making sloe gin for a while now but this year I have decided to make a litre of sloe brandy. That is simply following the usual recipe but using brandy instead of gin.
Has anybody else done this, what was the result like? This recipe sounds absolutely delicious but does it work?
