I'd dearly love to be able to find some Bullaces, but I've looked in vain in my part of the world. Anyone know where there is a supply of them in Gloucestershire or thereabouts?

Cheers, Kay. I'll have a look there next week if I get time... I live south of the city centre and I have been picking them in the fields between coventry and kenilworth. There are probably patches in the area which I haven't discovered yet but a lot of the bushes were picked clean several weeks ag...

I'm on the lookout for nice 200-250ml bottles as well. I found a website which sells 250ml swing-top ones which are OK, if a little plain. However, the cost of 12 of them plus postage is not going to be awfully cheap and I might be raiding local charity shops and putting out pleas on Freegle soon.

After a litre? :shock: I must be using the wrong sort of coffee filter papers as I have found they clog up after only a couple of minutes' use. I am off to my local home brewing shop (Stroud) tomorrow to see if they have some sort of wine filter that won't cost me an arm and a leg as I'll grow old w...
